MAYVILLE, N.Y. (WKBW) - Jury selection begins Wednesday in the civil trial of a Jamestown man convicted of infecting a dozen women with HIV during the mid 90's.
36-year-old Nushawn Williams has already served his 12-year term, but the state wants to hold him in confinement. The state says he's a threat to others.
Just last month, Williams' attorney revealed new blood test results showing he's HIV negative.
The trial will decide whether or not Williams can be released from civil confinement.
