Hand made and packaged chocolates. Dan Johnson said are perfect for Mom.

"Chocolate is a comfort food and it makes mom feel comforted with love," Johnson said.

Johnson owns and operates ChocoLogo in downtown Buffalo. He said they have all sorts of specialty items, each one hand crafted for mom.

"That is our beautiful olive and we have some of hens with all different filling," Johnson said.

Johnson doesn't stop there. He has and entire shop full of chocolate covered everything. The flavors range from strawberry to Wasabi.

If sweets are not your mom's thing, there are other suggestions on what to get for her big day.

"Moms love fresh flowers so it's a big holiday," Maureen Bartley said.

Maureen Bartley is the owner of Maureen's Wholesale Flowers also in Buffalo. She also has her staff working overtime to have everything ready for mom's special day. She said any flower or plant will do but moms have their favorites.

"Mothers love spring mixed bouquets with Gerber Daisy's, Tulips and the spring flowers," Bartley said.

Maureen is a mother and grandmother. She said it's not only about the flowers, the chocolate or what is inside the box. She said to a mother, there is something more.

"The thoughtfulness, just being thought of. The card and the message that accompanies it," Bartley said
