WEST SENECA, N.Y. (WKBW) - Residents living near Lexington Green Road in West Seneca woke up to see backyards, homes, and roads covered with water.
This all after water as high as 10 feet flooded nearby roads last night.
Today the water has receded, but many of the houses have major damage.
The flooding last night so dangerous, local residents were rescued by boat.
Crews from neighboring fire departments including Orchard Park, Lancaster, and Amherst are pitching in to help with the clean-up efforts.
