Buffalo, NY (WKBW)- According to Delta Air Lines, a male flight attendant was removed from flying after a TSA officer observed him acting 'unusual' at checkpoint. Delta Flight #1266 was delayed at the Buffalo Niagara International Airport because of an investigation into this incident. According to the Transportation Security Administration, a TSA Officer says the Delta employee was displaying 'unusual behavior' and notified Delta.

Delta Air Lines released this statement to Eyewitness News:

"Delta was contacted by the TSA early Wednesday morning with an allegation that a flight attendant appeared unfit for duty. Delta takes these allegations very seriously and we are working to confirm whether this allegation is accurate. As a precaution, we removed the flight attendant from flying. We apologize to our customers onboard Delta 1266 for the delay they encountered while traveling to Atlanta."
