Firefighters Battle Stubborn Two-alarm Blaze

Buffalo, NY (WKBW) Buffalo firefighters were called to the scene of a two-alarm fire on Moselle Street in Buffalo this afternoon.

The flames ignited at a vacant home at 126 Moselle Street at 2:30 p.m. The blaze spread through the roof and jumped to two adjacent homes.

Both neighboring homes were occupied and sustained significant damage. 122 Moselle will be torn down, and 130 Moselle will require major repairs. 11 people-- five adults and six children-- lived in the two homes. The Red Cross has sent volunteers to help them find temporary housing.

No injuries have been reported, and the initial cause of the fire is under investigation.
