BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) - Governor Cuomo will be in Buffalo Monday to discuss his Tax-Free New York Start-Up Program.

Start-Up New York established tax-free zones on and around SUNY campuses for new businesses to operate tax-free for up to 10 years.

The governor and leaders from both houses of the state legislature announced an agreement on Start-Up New York last week.

Some say it's unfair to those businesses already paying taxes, but local SUNY school administrators are excited for the program.

The bill was passed into law on Friday and now colleges will develop their own zones for state approval.
