Couple Found Dead in Burning Home

Carroll, N.Y. (WKBW) - Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office is searching for a suspect in a homicide after two people are found dead.

First responders were called to a home in Carroll New York, Wednesday morning, after they got a call that the house was on fire. When they finally contained the blaze and went in side, they found the bodies of a man and woman.

Authorities ruled the deaths a homicide and began searching for a suspect. They immediately shut down the road around the home. Officials also cancelled after school activities for students at a school near the scene to assure everyone's safety.

Authorities are on the lookout for a tan colored vehicle. Officials are not commenting further on a description on the car or the suspect.

The bodies were removed by the Chautauqua County Coroner and taken to the Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo.
