HAMBURG, NY (WKBW) - There was some controversy at Monday night's Hamburg Town Board meeting, and not just over the budget.

A former town worker says highway supervisor Tom Best hired his son-in-law for a $25/hour job that some feel others were more qualified for.

The position is temporary and will be permanently filled at a later date. The highway supervisor says the job ad will be posted publicly.
