CLARENCE, N.Y (WKBW) - Vandals in Clarence target signs against a proposed tax hike.

The tax increase is for the school budget. Voters decide Tuesday if they'll support the 9.8 percent tax hike proposed by the school board.

The tax hike closes a $6.5 million budget shortfall for the 2013-14 school year. The districts depleted it's reserve fund to cover the gap in recent, laid off 90 employees over the past three years, switched workers to self-funding of their healthcare, and the district is still short.
