The McGuire Development Company announced Thursday that the Buffalo City Mission has retained their services to replace the existing Men's Community Center at 100 East Tupper Street.

Stuart Harper, Executive Director of the Buffalo City Mission says not only are they in need of space in every capacity, they are also looking to get back to the roots of the organization which is community outreach.  Having the space to accommodate the needs of the organization now and for future growth is a top priority.

In McGuire's statement they say "the new property will provide housing options while expanding its long-term solutions for preventing homelessness."

Harper adds "it could take us a year before we even break ground. We're probably looking at two and a half to three years before we would move into anything new. So we're in no rush to sell this particular place."The Buffalo City Mission is a not-for-profit organization that provides preventative, emergency and long-term recovery services for those in need.
