AMHERST, NY (WKBW) The Band Perry, a popular country music band has landed in Buffalo.

The band performed for students at the University at Buffalo’s Springfest, an annual concert to celebrate the end of the semester.

Band members say they love inspiring young students.

“There’s always a lot of energy on college campuses,” said Kimberly Perry, the band’s lead singer. “The whole spirit behind our new album Pioneer was marching forward to our own futures, and doing it with boldness and courage and great ideas. A lot of great ideas are born on college campuses.”

The most rewarding thing for the siblings is giving back and remembering where they started.

“We remember shows when there were more people on the stage playing than out in the crowd listening,” said Perry. “Anytime we get to sing country songs with our fellow country music lovers is a good night for us.”
