Buffalo Teen Faces Serious Gun Charges Following Traffic Stop

An 18-year-old Buffalo Man faces serious gun charges following a traffic stop.

Police say when attempting to pull over a vehicle, 18-year-old Darquane McDuffie jumped out, led police on a short foot pursuit, and attempted to throw a loaded handgun away before being apprehended.

McDuffee was arrested in the 100 Block of Stanislaus Street just after 1 a.m. Sunday morning.

He was charged with criminal possession of a weapon, unlawful possession of a large capacity ammunition feeding device, unlawful possession of marijuana, and obstruction of governmental administration.
