BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) - Termination hearings will resume on Tuesday for a former Buffalo city human resources commissioner who was fired recently, and the mayor could be part of the testimony.

Karla Thomas was let go early last month after a city audit showed the HR department paid $2.7 million in health insurance benefits for more than 150 former employees who were deceased.

Mayor Byron Brown is overseeing these hearings and he could testify at some point.
