Buffalo- It was the surprise of a lifetime for 8 year old Antoine Rushing in Buffalo today.

The former Pinnacle Charter School student was crushed when the state decided to close his school, as a result forcing him to miss out on the music program in which he was learning to play the drums.

But when Robby Takac, native of Buffalo and member of the Goo Goo Dolls saw our story from last Wednesday-- he got the ball rolling with his friends in the music business to help Antoine.

David Hulett, a professional drummer and friend of Takac's decided to give Antoine 3 months of free sessions at GCR Studio but that’s not all.

When David learned that Antoine didn't have a real drumset to learn on, he went out and bought the boy a set of his own.

It was pure excitement and joy for Antoine and his entire family as David and Robby revealed the surprises at the studio on Wednesday.

Hulett hopes to implement an after school music program from Buffalo youth in the future.
