LYNDONVILLE, NY (WKBW) - There were very few who escaped Mother Nature's wrath Tuesday, as lake effect snow bands dumped snow on areas north and south of the city.

A separate band of lake effect snow hit areas to the south throughout the day.

Places like Dayton and Gowanda in Cattaraugus and southern Erie counties saw up to a foot in places.
