BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) - The First Niagara Center has sat mostly vacant since the start of the NHL lockout more than a hundred days ago. Hundreds of games have been cancelled and there still is no agreement on a new CBA, but Sabres, and hockey fans can forget about that tonight, if only for a short while.

The Amerks skated this morning ahead of their AHL contest against the Lake Erie Monsters. this will be the second time the Sabres affiliate has played here in Buffalo this season. With many hometown fans coming out and supporting any hockey at all, and others making the short drive down the I-90 to see Sabres players and prosects hit the ice.

Expected to play tonight are some familiar names in Cody Hodgson, Brayden McNabb, Marcus Foligno and more.

Puckdrop is scheduled for 7:05 P.M. downtown tonight.
