Buffalo, NY (WKBW) - A Buffalo man behind bars, charged in connection with a deadly shooting last week, heads back to court on Tuesday.

Joseph Gant, 28-years-old of Buffalo, pleaded not guilty last week to one count of second degree murder and three counts of first degree assault.

Prosecutors say he shot at a group of teenagers on a footbridge connecting Oakmont Avenue to Roosevelt Park.

Gant is accused of killing 14-year-old Ray Floyd Patterson III and injuring three others in that shooting.
