A Look Back at Lindy Ruff's Long Buffalo Career

BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) - There was not much Lindy Ruff could say after Tuesday night's embarrassing loss.

"No there isn't, I'm not going to stand here and make excuses for it either," he said following a crushing defeat against Winnipeg.

The Sabres were booed out of First Niagara Center.

"I understand it. I totally understand it. I'm embarrassed," he said.

The next day, Ruff's run as the longest-tenured head coach in NHL history was over.
