BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Buffalo Sabres forward Kyle Okposo is out indefinitely with a concussion, according to the team's latest injury report.

Okposo has been playing on a line with Johan Larsson and Zemgus Girgensons this season, tallying one goal and four assists. He suffered a concussion in the second period of Saturday's game against the Ottawa Senators at KeyBank Center.

This is Kyle Okposo's fourth season in Buffalo. He spent the previous nine with the Islanders. In his 13th season in the NHL, Okposo has a history of injuries-- particularly concussions. Most recently, he was diagnosed with a concussion in February.Prior to that injury, Okposo's 2017 season ended at the end of March, when a seemingly-routine bump in practice turned into a long-term health scare that included at trip a stay in the ICU.
