Numminen's Suspension Lifted

The Sabres lifted the season-long suspension of defenseman Teppo Numminen Tuesday night. Numminen has missed the entire season after open heart surgery, and was suspended before the season started.

The 39 year old has been cleared to play, but will not be in the lineup Tuesday night in Toronto. Head coach Lindy Ruff says no decision has been made on Numminen's status for the last two games of the regular season.
