Sabres fall at Philadelphia, Kassian injured

(WKBW.com) Derek Roy scored the only Buffalo goal, as the Sabres fell 3-1 to the Philadelphia Flyers on Friday night. The loss was the Sabres second of the preseason, Buffalo is now 3-2 in exhibition play.



Sabres goaltender Ryan Miller played the entire game, he had 23 saves.
The Flyers got power play goals by Nikolay Zherdev, and James van Riemsdyk in the second period. Blair Betts added an empty netter for Philadelphia in the third.



Sabres forward Zach Kassian left the game with a foot injury, and did not return. The Sabres finish off the exhibition schedule on Sunday night when they host the Flyers at the HSBC Arena.
