Sabres Beat Senators, Extend Win Streak To 4

Buffalo (WKBW.com) Jhonas Enroth made 36 saves to improve to 5-0 on the season as the Buffalo Sabres beat the visiting Ottawa Senators 5-1 on Friday night. The win pushed the Sabres winning streak to 4.



Enroth benefited from an early lead. The Sabres chased Senators goaltender Craig Anderson with two quick goals in the first period. Derek Roy and Matt Ellis scored :16 seconds apart to give Buffalo a 2-0 lead. Jordan Leopold scored his 3rd of the year at the 14:40 mark as the Sabres led 3-1 after the first.



After a scoreless second, Luke Adam and Ville Leino each scored for the Sabres in the third. For Leino it was only his second goal of the season.



With the win the Sabres improved to 10-5 on the year. Buffalo plays in Boston on Saturday night.
