Sabres Suffer Road Loss to Rangers

New York (WKBW) Rick Nash scored the game winning goal with under two minutes to play as the New York Rangers beat the Buffalo Sabres 2-1 on Thursday night at Madison Square Garden. It was the Sabres fifth straight loss.

Drew Stafford scored the lone goal for Buffalo. Stafford gave the Sabres a 1-0 lead at 9:06 of the second period. Matt Hackett made 28 saves in the setback. Benoit Pouliot scored the other goal for the Rangers.

Buffalo plays in Boston on Saturday and wraps up the regular season schedule on Sunday against the New York Islanders at home.
