Sabres Stunned by Predators in OT

BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) - Martin Erat scored 27 seconds into overtime on Saturday to give the Nashville Predators a 4-3 win over the Buffalo Sabres.

Buffalo held a two-goal lead with under three minutes to play in regulation before the Predators' Blake Geoffrion scored his second and third goals of the game to tie the contest.

Nathan Gerbe, Tim Connolly and Tyler Ennis scored for Buffalo.

Ryan Miller made 22 saves.

The Sabres gain a point and remain in eighth place in the East with 79 on the season. That is three points behind the seventh place Rangers. It is also three points in front of ninth place Carolina.

Buffalo next visits Montreal on Tuesday.
