GLENDALE, AZ (WKBW) - The Buffalo Sabres extended their point streak to five straight games on Saturday night as they beat the Phoenix Coyotes 2-1 in overtime.

Sabres defenseman Jordan Leopold and Coyotes forward Scottie Upshall exchanged second period goals. Leopold's came on the power play.

After a scoreless third period, Drew Stafford scored 3:12 into overtime as he rushed end-to-end and wristed the game-winner past Jason LaBarbera.

The Sabres return home to face the Philadelphia Flyers on Tuesday.
