DALLAS, TX (WKBW) - The Buffalo Sabres were shutout in Dallas on Saturday, losing 4-0.

Andrew Raycroft made 34 saves for the Stars.

James Neal opened the scoring in the first period with a power play goal.

Brendan Morrow tipped a Brad Richards shot out of the air late in the second period to give Dallas another power play goal.

In the third period, special teams haunted the visiting team once again. While on the man advantage, Tyler Myers had the puck stolen from him by Jamie Benn. Benn's breakaway chance was stopped by Patrick Lalime, but Steve Ott was there to put away the rebound for the shorthanded goal. Trevor Daly capped the scoring later in the period.

The Sabres now fall to 3-7-2. They host the Bruins on Wednesday.

NOTES: For a second straight night, Sabres captain Craig Rivet was a healthy scratch.
