Roy says he's 100 percent

Buffalo (WKBW.com) Sabres Head Coach Lindy Ruff used Monday morning to move away from comments that Derek Roy would be ready for game seven Tuesday in Philadelphia. "I don't know if he's playing yet. I don't know what to expect", said Ruff.

The center left a different impression when talking about the situation on Monday. Roy says he's 100 percent healthy, and ready to go after being out of the lineup since December 23rd with a torn quad tendon. "I wouldn't play if I wasn't 100 percent. We were waiting for the right moment. All of this work payed off", said Roy. "It's great (to get back). I've put in a lot of hard work. Give credit to the coaches and the training staff. It's been a tough road. I'm back. Ready to go", Roy continued.

Roy hopes to help a Sabres line-up that will be without Tim Connolly and Jason Pominville on Tuesday in Philadelphia.
