Winnipeg (WKBW.com) Tobias Enstrom scored the eventual game winning goal in the second period as the Winnipeg Jets beat the slumping Buffalo Sabres 4-1 on Thursday night. It was the Sabres 11th straight loss on the road.

Drew Stafford scored the lone goal for Buffalo. Stafford tied the game at 1-1 at 4:17 of the second period with his 8th goal of the season. Enstrom scored at 12:55 of the second. Tim Stapleton and Nik Antropov scored in the third period for the Jets.

The loss dropped the Sabres to 0-4 on the teams current 7 game road trip. Buffalo has been outscored 19-to-5 during that stretch.

Sabres forward Pat Kaleta was injured in the loss. He left the game with a "lower body injury" in the second period, and did not return. Kaleta was injured blocking a shot.

The Sabres continue their road trip on Saturday in St. Louis.
