October 29, 2010 Updated Oct 29, 2010 at 1:29 PM EDT

Buffalo (WKBW.com) Sabres forward Jason Pominville is back in Buffalo after failing his second nuero-pysch test. Pominville was with the team in Atlanta, hoping to be cleared for a return to game action tonight against the Thrashers, but left yesterday. He will not play tonight, and according to the team , is unlikely to play tomorrow in Dallas.

Pominville suffered a concussion back on October 11th. He has been skating with the team, including a workout yesterday in Atlanta, but needs to pass the nuero-pysch test to be medically cleared to play again.

The forward is now scheduled to meet with team doctors for further testing.
