Sunrise, Florida (WKBW.com) The Sabres entered Friday night with a chance to pull even on the season, instead they left BankAtlantic Center wondering what the heck happened. The Sabres gave up four first period goals, and fell 6-2 at the hands of the Florida Panthers on Friday.

Marty Reasoner scored twice for the Panthers and Tomas Vokoun made 41 saves in the victory. Sabres goaltender Ryan Miller was pulled in between the first and second periods and replaced with Patrick Lalime.

Derek Roy and Tim Connolly scored the Buffalo goals. The Sabres stay in Florida to play the Tampa Bay Lightning on Saturday night.
