July 8, 2010 Updated Jul 8, 2010 at 3:36 PM EDT

BOSTON, Mass. (WKBW) - Former Sabre Miroslav Satan scored a power play goal 7:41 into the second overtime period to send the Boston Bruins past the Buffalo Sabres 3-2, in Game Four of their first round best-of-seven playoff series.

The Bruins now hold a 3-1 series lead with a chance to win the series in Buffalo on Friday.

Tim Kennedy scored a first period goal, and Steve Montador scored in the second period to give Buffalo the 2-0 lead entering the third.

But after David Krejci scored a power play goal early in the third, Patrice Bergeron followed that up with the tying marker minutes later.

Ryan Miller made 36 saves in the contest, with three brilliant stops in the first overtime, before allowing the game-winner in the second OT.

Thomas Vanek did not play after taking part in the pregame skate. He missed his second full game with a lower-body injury which is believed to be to his ankle/foot.

Game Five is set for Friday night, at HSBC Arena, at 7:00pm.
