Boston (WKBW.Com) Tuukka Rask made 32 saves for Boston, and Patrice Bergeron scored the go ahead goal in the third period as the Bruins beat the Buffalo Sabres 2-1 on Monday night. The loss puts the Sabres in a 2-1 hole in the best of seven series. Game four is Wednesday night back at the TD Garden in Boston.

The Sabres took the lead in the first period when Mike Grier scored his first goal of the playoffs. Raffi Torres made a nice play to set up Grier for the 1-0 lead in the first. Boston would respond later in the period with a goal by Dennis Wideman.

Ryan Miller made 27 saves in the loss. The Sabres played without forward Thomas Vanek. Drew Stafford returned to the lineup for the first time since April 10th. Stafford finished with two shots on goal in his return from a concussion.
