(WKBW.com) Former Sabre Chris Drury announced on Friday that he is retiring from the NHL after 12 seasons. In three seasons in Buffalo the former Sabres captain scored 85 goals, and produced 189 points. He also helped the Sabres to back-to-back trips to the Eastern Conference Finals. Eyewitness Sports Director Jeff Russo tracked down this piece from back in 2007, prior to the Sabres second long run in the postseason. Russo and WKBW photographer Chris Podosek made the trip to Drury's hometown of Trumbull Connecticut, here's a look back.
