Kane, Blackhawks Take 2-0 Lead in Cup Final

CHICAGO, IL (WKBW) - South Buffalo native Patrick Kane is two wins away from raising the Stanley Cup. Kane and the Chicago Blackhawks beat the Philadelphia Flyers 2-1, in game two of the Stanley Cup Final, on Monday. Chicago now leads the best-of-seven championship series two-games-to-none.

Kane was again held off the scoresheet.

Marian Hossa and Ben Eager scored for Chicago. Simon Gagne tallied for the Flyers.

Hawks goaltender Antti Niemi made 32 saves. Flyers goaltender Michael Leighton, who was pulled in game one, countered with 24 stops.

Game three is Wednesday in Philadelphia.
