Niagara Falls native Jonny Flynn will begin his career in the NBA with the Minnesota Timberwolves. The former Syracuse guard was taken by the T-Wolves with the 6th overall pick in Thursday's NBA Draft.
Flynn averaged 17.4 points and 6.7 assists last season for the Orange.
The Timberwolves had 4 first round draft picks, they selected guard Ricky Rubio from Spain with the 5th overall pick.
