The Buffalo Flash won their inaugural game on Sunday, beating Quebec City Amiral 4-2.
Maria Ruiz and Rosie Tantillo both netted a pair of goals in the victory.
The Flash are a women's professional soccer team which plays in the Women's League of the United Soccer League. They are one of 37 teams based in the United States and Canada.
Buffalo plays their home games at Orchard Park High School. They next travel to Rochester to battle the rival Ravens on Friday May 29th. Their next home game is on Friday June 5th, at 7:00pm, against Rochester.
