The Buffalo Bisons had some Major League appeal on Friday night. On assignment from the parent club, the Toronto Blue Jays, star outfielder Jose Bautista was sent to Buffalo for a three-game rehab stint.

Batting third in the order and starting in right field, Bautista made his Bisons debut in a 7-1 loss to the Gwinnett Braves. Bautista went 0-for-3 on the night, having struck out looking in his first at bat, and then popped out and grounded out later in the game.

The outfielder was replaced in the top of the 8th inning. Bautista has two more games before heading back up north to Toronto to rejoin the Blue Jays. The Bisons are home on Saturday night and Sunday afternoon for both of those contests.
