In Class B, Depew made quick work of Wayland Cohocton, downing the Eagles 13-0 to advance to the state semifinals for the second straight year. The Wildcats' Karsen Cotton, who was in this week's Super 7 Countdown strikeout out nine batters to earn the win.
Williamsville North's season came to an end in the AA Far West Regional, falling to Victory 5-1. The Spartans finish the season with a 15-7-1 overall record.
