The Orchard Park girls rugby team won its second straight state title, defeating Play Rugby Academy 14-10 on Sunday.
"Not everyone gets a chance, even to win one. So back-to-back is indescribable," junior Frangelica Bautz said.
"It was so awesome, we had a lot of tears at the end of the game," teammate Hannah Riccardi added. "It was an amazing feeling."
The program, which started in 2004, has become a national power and currently ranks 22nd in the High School Top 25 Poll.
It's the second straight year the Quakers defeated PRUSA. OP won their first rugby crown 33-29 in 2015.
