St. Joe's has tabbed Derek Landri as their next head football coach.
The former NFL defensive end replaces Dennis Gilbert, who stepped down in April due to health reasons.

Landri was an assistant with the Marauders last season, serving as a strength and conditioning coach and also worked with the offensive and defensive lines.

He'll be formally introduced on Wednesday.

While in the league, Landri totaled 130 tackles and nine sacks while playing for the Jaguars, Panthers, Eagles and Bucs.

Jacksonville drafted him in the 5th round in 2007.  He played college football at Notre Dame.

Landri will be formally introduced on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at St. Joe's.
