SYRACUSE, NY - (WKBW) The Randolph High School football team captured its third state championship in school history on Friday. The Cardinals beat Tuckahoe 28-7 at the Carrier Dome to take home the Class D title.
Randolph senior Jordan Dowiasz had two rushing touchdowns on the day.
The Sweet Home Panthers fell short in the Class A state final. They suffered their only loss of the season to Burnt Hills by the score of 40-20.
The Orchard Park Quakers play for the Class AA state championship on Saturday. The defending champions take on New Rochelle at 6 p.m. inside the Carrier Dome.
