Following another weekend of college football, a UB safety has earned weekly honors from the Mid-American Conference.
Tim Roberts was named the East Division Defensive Player of the Week following a performance that included a team-high six tackles, a tackle for loss and an interception. The Bulls wound up falling 21-20 to Akron.
Roberts' honor marks the sixth time this season that a UB player has won MAC player of the week honors.
The Bulls are scheduled to play next Tuesday, November 7th against Bowling Green.
