Daemen's historic season continued on Friday as the Wildcats advanced to the East Regional Final of the DII NCAA Tournament for the first time in program history with a 3-0 sweep against New Haven.

The second seeded Wildcats will play No. 4 American International at 5 p.m. on Saturday, which upset top seeded NYIT.
Amber Drzymala paced Daemen with 11 kills, while teammate Courtney Bernard added 10 in the victory.
The Wildcats improve to 2-0 all-time in the NCAA Tournament.
