For the first time since their game against Florida Atlantic, Buffalo Bulls QB Tyree Jackson was under center. Unfortunately, his return was spoiled by a heartbreaking 21-20 loss to Akron on Saturday afternoon.

Jackson has been injured and sidelined for the last four games. In his return, he completed a career high 34 passes for a career-high 315 yards.

Running back Emmanuel Reed once again surpassed the 100 yard mark by rushing for 116 yards and two touchdowns. Meanwhile, wide receiver Kamathi Holsey finished with seven catches for 100 yards.

The Bulls are now 3-6 on the year and just 1-4 in Mid American Conference play.

They return home on November 7th when they host Bowling Green.
