TALLAHASSEE, FL - (WKBW) For the first time in program history, the St. Bonaventure women's basketball team is heading to the sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament. The Bonnies defeated Marist on Tuesday night 66-63 in the second round of the national tourny.
Jessica Jenkins paced Bona with 22 points. She also drained six three-pointers.
The Bonnies will face top-seeded Notre Dame on Sunday in the region semifinals. That game will be played in Raleigh, North Carolina.
