EDISON, NJ (WKBW) - Niagara Purple Eagles' sopohmore guards Juan'ya Green and Antoine Mason where named to the 2012-13 All-MAAC First Team Monday, along with Canisius guard Billy Baron.
Green, a 6-foot-3 guard is the only player in the MAAC to rank in the top five in scoring (17.0 ppg, third), assists (5.0 apg, second), steals (1.9 spg, third) and assist/turnover ratio (1.8, second).
Mason is second in the conference in scoring at 18.3 points per game and was named to the MAAC All-Rookie Team last season. He is the third sophomore in program history to reach 1,000 points.
Golden Griffs junior guard Billy Baron is averaging just over 16 points and 5 assists per contest.
