Buffalo (WKBW.com) UB Forward Mitchell Watt was not selected in the NBA Draft on Thursday but he has a busy summer ahead as he chases his dream of playing professional basketball.
Watt's agent tells Eyewitness Sports Director Jeff Russo that the MAC Player of the Year will attend the NBA's Summer League with the Memphis Grizzlies as a free agent.
"It will be a great opportunity for Mitch to not only get familiar with the Grizzlies, but also showcase his talent in front of several NBA teams", said Todd Eley of Stratosphere Sports.
The NBA Summer League starts on July 23th in Las Vegas and this year will include a record 24 teams competing in a 60-game schedule.
