Buffalo State kicks off 2007 with a win

Junior receiver Greg Meyer led the way for Buffalo State with four touchdowns and 150 all-purpose yards as the Bengals beat host Morrisville 37-14 on Saturday.

Meyer recorded his first of three receiving touchdowns on the second play from scrimmage with a 70-yard reception. Meyer finished the day with four catches for 124 yards and added a 24-yard rushing touchdown.

Senior tailback Dan Lopez led Buffalo State with 135 yards rushing on 22 carries and a touchdown.

The Bengals offense finished the day with a total of 432 yards, while the Buffalo State defense limited Morrisville to just 210 yards of total offense.
