Bulls prepare for Western Michigan

July 8, 2010 Updated Jul 8, 2010 at 2:29 PM EST Amherst - The (3-4) UB Bulls get ready to hit the road this week for the first time since September 26th when they head to (3-4) Western Michigan. The Bulls have never beaten the Broncos and face some big injury questions at running back for Saturday's game.

Starting running back Ike Nduka and backup Brand Thermilus are both questionable this week after suffering ankle injuries in the Bulls 21-17 win over Akron. The duo did not practice on Tuesday and will be reevaluated on Wednesday. If Nduka and Thermilus can not play on Saturday it will be senior Mario Henry who gets the start, with freshman Jeffvon Gill getting a look as the backup. "It's part of life, part of football. If it's so, Jeffvon Gill is the next guy. He hasn't had any reps, so it's an opportunity. We feel good about our running backs.", said Head Coach Turner Gill on Wednesday.

The Bulls are looking for their third straight win. Kick off is set for 2:00 from Kalamazoo, Michigan on Saturday.
