BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) - Kenny Hasbrouck's 20 points - 18 in the
second half - lifted Siena in a 78-74 win over Canisius Sunday in
the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference.
Alex Franklin had 17 points with nine rebounds while Ronald
Moore added 16 points with six boards and four assists.
Julius Coles led Canisius with 21 points.
Moore's layup with 0:24 left gave Siena (23-7, 16-2) a
five-point lead, but Greg Logins' 3-pointer brought Canisius within
76-74 with 15.7 seconds left.
Canisius fouled Moore two seconds later, and he drained both
free throws.
Canisius (10-19, 4-14) shot 52.4 percent for the game, 58.6
percent in the first half taking a 40-35 lead.
Siena opened the second half with an 8-2 run to take the lead
43-42 at 18:27. Hasbrouck connected on five of his first six,
draining 3-of-4 3-pointers.
